Medea Mahdavi - Walking with Water
Walking with Water (2003/4) - Medea Mahdavi, Andy Sheppard, Ralph Hoyte, Bobak Walker, Tim Garside and Tony & Glen Eastman along with 300 children created a site-specific dance and visual arts event. The artists were inspired by Bandari rhythms from Iran and Iraq. Dance choreographed by Medea Mahdavi and B-boy Bobak expressed the importance of water in our world today. As a permanent record of the event, Medea devised a book which was given to all the participants. These are some of the pages from the book.
