A haunting drama by writer Philip Gross performed by Iranian dancer Medea MahdaviTwo lives on the edge: a woman in the crowd, with a whole world of exile and dangers inside her, meets an unsettling juggler on the streets of a city much like this. Drawing on rich traditions of Persian dance and folk-theatre, Medea Mahdavi weaves a multi-media dream round their encounter, with the circus skills of Owen Reynolds, words by poet Philip Gross and live music from percussionist Hassan Erraji. A unique collaboration – by turns sensual, funny, thought-provoking and direct - it is a haunting and topical experience that, once seen, you will not forget.
